NeoKaw matches painters to projects based on twenty-nine levels of compatibility. It’s a tough choice to make between painting and working on a sight devoted to fanatical painting. I’ve been thinking about changing the site to promote the Church of Lead and Paint, but most people are more interested in playing. Painter/Gamers are just too busy to waist time on such drivel. On the other hand, Gamer/Painters should go straight to Hell and burn for their dirty, dirty sins (such as playing with unpainted miniatures, saying things like, “well, the painting is good enough,” and overusing drybrushing). On the bright side, NeoKaw is guaranteed to enhance that certain part of the male anatomy.
Sad News folks a game store in Coeur d'Alene, ID called Gamers Haven was destroyed in a fire on Sunday Afternoon. We at NeoKaw are always sad when a Hobby store is taken away.
Well, after a rather extended absence, I'm back, bitches. More content is sure to come. Looking over the past year, NeoKaw has had a rough time. The focus on news was an agrivating waste of time and a big nussence. There are plenty of ther sites out there that can bring the hobby game market news from the industry. NeoKaw needs to focus on new and interesting content. Hell, both have been rather lacking over the past everal months. Also, the index for Signs and Portents is going away. Mongoose has killed what few decent miniatures game they had and they are now left with their reliable stable of RPGs and a few shitty miniatures. Battlefield Evlution is a fucked-up bastardatiation of Starship Troopers with shittier miniatures than the original CAP Troopers. Only a damn English company could release and kill a a highly anticipated miniatures game with shitty miniatures and then do it again to another game just a year and a half later. As for A Call to Arms, Mongoose decided to dumb down the new edition. Then there's the slaughter of their best miniatures game, Mighty Armies. Getting back to the content, I added a short review of Cold War: CIA vs KGB. However, I am willing to accecpt news content from manafactures who have created new games, miniatures, or other products as well as news from retailers who wish to announce that they are carrying a product not generally offered in the US, such as distributing products from Foundry, Black Tree, or Alternative Armies.
Lastly there is a new competition. To enter just register onto Battlefront’s website, login, and fill out the questionnaire/readers poll.
Prizes include: 5000 points worth of Flames Of War miniatures and US$500 worth of Osprey books!
I created a new section in the gallery for terrain. I will be adding pictures of terrain that members of Neokaw have created. Currently there are only pictures of the building that I created back in March and the table that Kawcleric created.

Following suggestions from some customers, we're now producing a couple of gauges suitable for use with Forge World'sAeronautica Imperialis and other rules. We have a short range targeter available, plus a short/medium/long range ruler.
The Imperial Targeter has a flat-front for alignment with either hex or square bases. This short-range targeter has a range of 6 inches and is 60 degrees wide. There are marks for 1 through 6 inches, making it suitable for use with other rule systems.
The Imperial Range Ruler has demarcations for short, medium and long range at 6, 12, and 18 inches. One edge has tick marks measuring inches (up to 18), the other side has similar ticks to measure centimeters (up to 45).
Both new gauges are precision cut and laser engraved for accuracy.
