Most contemporary painting guides and articles suffer from a lack of clarity and detail. While most do list the colors used, as well as the manufacturer of the paints, most fail to list all of the steps, the techniques used to apply the pigment, and the nature of the pigment (if it was thinned, by how much and with what). This section is an attempt to create a universal method to allow for the creation of clear, concise, and accurate painting recipes.
